Do you need to obtain licensure hours? 

I provide supervision to license-eligible/pre-licensed individuals. Please note: It will be your responsibility to verify with your licensing board if you are eligible to receive supervision from an LMFT, if you are not working towards an MFT license.

What are the benefits of receiving supervision from an LMFT? 

MFTs have unique training in Systems Theories, meaning that we utilize a relational lens when working not only with couples and families, but with individuals as well. We see individuals, but we also see the systems they are a part of and how they impact and/or influence them. We explore FOO(family of origin), environment, social context, etc. I like to think of the MFT profession/lens as a holistic one, in that it sees all of the various things that make up the whole person.
